The weekly territory war and the role of blockchain
A new territory war every week
Siegekin is a guild territory war played in a PC browser. Gather resources, craft equipment, capture castles and earn seasonal guild points by holding territory. Gathering, deliveries, repairs and coordination contribute alongside combat.
Each season runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Monday 00:00 UTC. Resetting territory and seasonal progression gives guilds another opportunity to compete each week.
The play loop
- Gather and hunt for timber, ore, herbs and animal materials.
- Craft and prepare by increasing mastery and using workshops in guild-owned castles.
- Siege and capture by breaking gates and engraving guardian stones.
- Defend and supply by transporting equipment, repairing gates and holding territory.
- Settle the season with a final ranking and reward distribution by the winning guild.
On combat death, equipped gear and inventory items drop onto the ground for other players to collect. DIA, silver and mastery are not part of this death loot. Account-owned mounts and the permanent bag expansion are not inventory items and do not drop.
What the blockchain does
Real-time gameplay runs on game servers. Persistent records such as guilds, territory, season settlement and DIA connect to blockchain contracts. Servers determine combat and loot outcomes; individual gameplay actions are not all verified on-chain.
| Area | Processing |
|---|---|
| Movement, attacks, gathering, crafting and drops | Game server |
| Guilds, territory captures, season scores and rankings | Contract recording and verification |
| DIA balances, transfers and swaps | Token and liquidity pool contracts (no pool during the testnet beta) |
| Seasonal mastery badges | EAS attestations |
| Ordinary equipment and materials | Game items, without individual NFT ownership |
The service is currently a GIWA Sepolia testnet beta. Items, guilds and DIA from the beta have no real value and are reset when the beta ends. This document describes the GIWA integration implementation. It does not establish a mainnet launch, a completed deployment of any particular contract, or a completed external security audit. Check the service announcement for the actual network and contract addresses.
Three economic units
- Items are resources acquired through gathering, hunting and crafting, then used or lost in combat.
- Silver is a seasonal currency for merchants and certain game services. There is no in-game conversion into DIA or ETH.
- DIA is a transferable token used for game products, services and season rewards. Its DIA/ETH pool has a variable exchange rate. The testnet beta has no pool, so DIA cannot be exchanged; each wallet receives 1,000 DIA once, on its first entry.
Paid products include consumables, materials, movement benefits and inventory convenience. They are not all cosmetic. Review costs in Tokenomics and contents in Probabilities & rewards before purchasing.
Administration and trust
The token and major game contracts include upgrade or policy administration powers. The current token implementation has no additional mint function after initialization. That is not a guarantee that an administrator can never change the implementation. The game depends on its servers and administration.
Rewards come from funded DIA balances. Playing or purchasing does not guarantee income. Winning a season, receiving a personal payout and obtaining a particular swap output each have separate conditions. Holding DIA does not currently grant dividends or governance voting rights.
